Comments: I’m a rock climber, off-road motorcycle rider, avid video game player and I have a couple decades of high-contact martial arts in my past. I also have ankylosing spondylitis, which means that my immune system tries to digest my joints.
For the past four years my thumbs have become increasingly unusable, to the point that it became nearly impossible for me to do simple things like reach into my own pockets. Needless to say video games, Rick climbing and the rest were off the table.
We looked into PRP (there’s no soft tissue left to heal) and other therapies before biting the bullet and doing a mini-tightrope CMC with Dr Pang.
I’m extremely pleased with the results. Dr Pang was talented, thoughtful and caring and Im sure I will be going to him got thumb number two in the future.
If you’re like me you’ve already waited far too long. Life is short - get it done.
